Welcome to the Walmart of World of Warcraft Auction Housing

The World of Warcraft Tip of the Day

Ever wonder how many times that full stack of Pristine Hides or Arctic Furs sells for a gazillion dollars on your server?

The answer is not very often.  Why do you think that is?  I'll do alittle show and tell.

On the Aggramar server, Marrick is one of the best AH sellers and one of my main competitors (we both skin). In watching him, I noticed something about him. He doesn't often post full stacks of items.
Case in point, Savage Leather.
Right now there are a ton of saps trying to sell full stacks for several hundred a pop, Marrick sells to the everyman.  He sells in stacks of 5 which makes his prices easier to cope with for more people and he has a TON of auctions up and moves alot of product.

Most people will lose out on money because they try to squeeze out each and every copper from their sells. And when they don't sell it, they re-list it again, and again, and again.
Think like Walmart, in the long run you'll have more gold and sell more items.

Something to shoot for once you really settle in and start having multiple characters sending stuff to their bank is to have a couple hundred auctions revolving at one time.  This is actually easier to do than it sounds if you play on a regular basis.  Try and price your items so that they will MOVE.  Be aggressive with the pricing, not at the top, but just a bit over the halfway mark.
