Golden Concepts

This page is dedicated to the root of my own gold making concepts.  Here, I'll teach you little pukes about

  • Multiple Streams of Gold: Tapping into multiple market points to max out your income while you watch the gold roll in from your smart phone while your out on the town with your best girl.
  • Selling Aggression:  You have to know when you push the price limit and when to just take the hit and run. You can't be a push-over either.Once you figure out how you can take advantage of the limits and twist them into your favor, you'll win big.
  • Profession Mastery:  This is more than just having a character to disenchant everything you get, along with a character to harvest all the sell-able goods.  I'm going to teach you how to utilize all the available resources and have multiple characters generating you gold with minimal work.
  • Market Resources:  I bet you had no clue that there was anything out there other than Auctioneer to use for your trinket pandering.  Well there is and whats out there that you aren't using is the difference between the people who are taking tons of your money in the AH and the blind idiots your convincing to give you 50s for garbage.
  • Market Timing:  Timing is everything they say, and making gold in Wow is no different.  Yea, yea, you've heard it, "Always put your auctions up over the weekend to increase sales".  Get out of here.  Every schmuck with a White Tuxedo Shirt running around with a name like "Bankelot" knows that. What we're talking about is knowing when to sell your EXACT ITEMS and when to hold off. The market is constantly fluctuating.  If you put your precious Heavy Leather up at the wrong time, you'll see that everyone else is selling it for 5g a stack and you'll have to sell for less, but if you had just sold the day earlier you could have gotten  15g a stack.  Thats what I'm talking about here.  On Wednesday, I sold 12 items that I had picked up while finishing up some quests on my 83 Troll Shaman, one of my last to get to 85.  Between the skins he picked up, and the other random items that I got, I made over 1500g between Wednesday night and Thursday afternoon.  Thats market timing.  If I sold the same 12 things today at the prices they were at this morning, I'd be lucky to get 500 if they sold at all.
So, In conclusion, These concepts are the basis for my own little pet project. I'll keep throwing out tidbits and samples and hey, maybe a few chapters if I'm feeling generous.  Keep checking back here and hopefully I'll beat some sense into that thick-browed noggin.
